Sugababes
The Sugababes are an English girl group composed of Mutya Buena, Keisha Buchanan, and Siobhán Donaghy. The lineup changed three times before returning to the original lineup in 2011. Formed in 1998 by Ron Tom, the manager of All Saints, Sugababes released their debut album, '' One Touch,'' through London Records in November 2000. It achieved moderate success and produced the top-ten single " Overload". In 2001, Donaghy was replaced by Heidi Range. With Range, Sugababes released three multi-platinum albums: '' Angels with Dirty Faces'' (2002), '' Three'' (2003), and '' Taller in More Ways'' (2005). In December 2005, Buena was replaced by Amelle Berrabah. Following the release of their first greatest hits album, the Sugababes released the albums '' Change'' (2007) and '' Catfights and Spotlights'' (2008). Keisha Kerreece Fayeanne Buchanan (; born 30 September 1984) is an English singer and songwriter and a founding member of the girl group Sugababes alongside Mutya Buena and Siobhán Donaghy. With Sugababes, she has had six number-one singles and two number-one studio albums, making them one of the most successful-charting British pop acts of the 21st century so far. Buchanan was sacked from the group in September 2009 and replaced by Jade Ewen. Buchanan returned to the group in 2012 with the original line-up. In 2012, she and her former Sugababes bandmates Buena and Donaghy confirmed their reunion. The original trio was not able to release music under the name Sugababes as it was still being used by the then-current members of the group. ''Change'' is the fifth studio album by British girl group Sugababes, released through Island Records on 1 October 2007. It was their first album to feature complete vocals by Amelle Berrabah, who joined the group following founding member Mutya Buena's departure in 2005. Musically, ''Change'' is predominantly a pop rock and dance-pop album produced by previous collaborators Xenomania, Dallas Austin and Jony Rockstar, along with newer producers Dr. Luke, Danish production team Deekay, and Novel. ''Sweet 7'' is the seventh studio album by British girl group Sugababes, released on 5 March 2010 by Island Records. Production for the album began in April 2009. ''Sweet 7'' is the only Sugababes album to feature Eurovision Song Contest 2009 entrant Jade Ewen following the controversial departure of Keisha Buchanan in September 2009. As a result of the group line-up change, ''Sweet 7'' was re-recorded to feature the vocals of new member Ewen and for the removal of Buchanan's vocals, making this the only Sugababes album that features none of the original members. ''Taller in More Ways'' is the fourth studio album by British girl group Sugababes, released by Island Records on 10 October 2005. It was primarily produced by Dallas Austin and Jony Rockstar, with additional production from Cameron McVey, Xenomania and Guy Sigsworth. The title of the album was inspired by a line in the album's second single, " Ugly". The album was preceded by its lead single " Push the Button", which peaked atop the UK Singles Chart, while its second single "Ugly" also achieving commercial success. Rosa Isabel Mutya Buena (; born 21 May 1985) is an English singer and songwriter who rose to fame as a member of girl group Sugababes. With the Sugababes, Buena had four UK number-one singles, an additional six top-ten hits and three multi-platinum albums. After leaving the group in December 2005, she released her debut solo album, ''Real Girl'', in June 2007. Heidi India Partakis (' Range; born 23 May 1983) is an English singer and songwriter, best known as a former member of the girl group Sugababes. She was an original member of girl group Atomic Kitten between 1998 and 1999, however she left the group before they released any material. Siobhán Emma Donaghy (born 14 June 1984) is a British singer and songwriter best known as a founding member of the girl group Sugababes. Donaghy left Sugababes in 2001 and released her debut solo album, '' Revolution in Me'', in 2003. Her second studio album, ''Ghosts'', was released in 2007 and met critical acclaim. "Overload" is the debut single of British girl group Sugababes. It was released on 11 September 2000 through London Records as the lead single from the group's debut studio album, '' One Touch'' (2000). "Freedom" is a promotional song by English girl group Sugababes. It was written by Jason Pebworth, Jon Shave, George Astasio, Kyle Abrahams, Peter Ighile, Mariah Young-Jones and Rowan Martin, and produced by The Invisible Men in collaboration with Parker & James. Amelle Sousa Berrabah (born 22 April 1984), also known as Amelle, is a British singer and rapper. She is best known for being a former member of the girl group the Sugababes, replacing founding member Mutya Buena, who left the group in December 2005.
