''Love Comin' Down'' is an album by the Canadian musician Sue Foley, released in 2000. She supported it with a North American tour. The album won a Maple Blues Award for recording of the year, as well as a Juno Award for best blues album. Production Produced by Colin Linden, the album was recorded at Bathouse Recording Studio. Many of the songs were inspired by Foley's divorce. Lucinda Williams contributed backing vocals to "Empty Cup". Roxanne Potvin (born March 31, 1982, in Regina, Saskatchewan) is a bilingual French-English Canadian singer, guitarist and songwriter based in Gatineau, Quebec. Deborah Coleman (October 3, 1956 – April 12, 2018) was an American blues musician. Coleman won the Orville Gibson Award for "Best Blues Guitarist, Female" in 2001, and was nominated for a W.C. Handy Blues Music Award nine times. Biography Coleman was born in Portsmouth, Virginia and raised in a music-loving military family that lived in San Diego, San Francisco, Bremerton, Washington, and the Chicago area. With her father playing piano, two brothers on guitar, and a sister who played guitar and keyboards, Deborah picked up guitar at age eight. She graduated in 1974 from Deep Creek High School in Chesapeake, Virginia. She worked in various professions, including as a master electrician, before pursuing a career in the music business. Shanachie Records is an American, New Jersey–based record label, founded in 1975 by Richard Nevins and Dan Collins. The label is named for the Gaelic word '' seanchaí'' (anglicised as shanachie), an Irish storyteller. It was previously distributed by Entertainment One Distribution. Starting as a label that specialized in fiddle music, they began releasing work by Celtic groups such as Planxty and Clannad. Antone's was an American record label based in Austin, Texas. History Antone's Records & Tapes was founded by Clifford Antone (October 27, 1949 – May 22, 2006) in 1987. It specialized in blues music, particularly the blues artists who performed at his blues nightclub Antone's, which opened on July 15, 1975 in Austin, Texas. In 1987, Antone also opened a record store named Antone's Record Shop in Austin, Texas. In 1993, the record label's name was simplified to Antone's Records. Antone's was awarded best local record label by ''The Austin Chronicle'' readers in 1993. Texas Clef Entertainment Group, an affiliate of Antone's Records, acquired the assets of the defunct Watermelon Records label. The Grammy Award for Best Traditional Blues Album was awarded from 1983 to 2011 and from 2017 onwards. Until 1992 the award was known as Best Traditional Blues Performance and was twice awarded to individual tracks rather than albums. The award was discontinued after the 2011 Grammy season in a major overhaul of Grammy categories. From 2012 onwards, the category was merged with the Best Contemporary Blues Album category to form the new Best Blues Album category. However, in 2016 the Grammy organisation decided to revert the situation back to the pre-2012 era, with two separate categories for traditional and contemporary blues recordings respectively.
