Subdivisions Of Bihar
Subdivision is an administrative unit below district level and above the block level in every state of India. A district may have one or more subdivisions. Presently there are 102 subdivisions in 38 districts of Bihar. Subdivisions are a group of blocks, which is administered by Sub-divisional Officer (SDO) also called as Sub-divisional Magistrate (SDM). SDM is similar to District Magistrate (DM) at subdivision level. They all are members of either the Indian Administrative Service (IAS) or the Bihar Administrative Service (BAS). Majority of DM and SDM in India are the members of the IAS. At the same time, there are 853 police stations in 43 ''Police Districts'' of Bihar. Arwal district is one of the thirty-eight districts of Bihar state, India, and Arwal town is the administrative headquarters of this district. It was earlier part of Jehanabad district. Bhojpur District, Bihar
Bhojpur district is one of the 38 districts of the Indian state of Bihar. Arrah city (also known as Ara) is the administrative headquarters of this district. Bhojpur district came into existence in 1972. Earlier it was the part of Shahabad district. This district is named "Bhojpur" after great Parmara King Bhoja as most early settlers were Rajput rulers of Parmara dynasty then called as Ujjainiya. Kahalgaon (formerly known as Colgong during British rule) is a municipality town and one of 3 sub-divisions of Bhagalpur District in the state of Bihar, India. Daudnagar
Daudnagar (ISO: ''Dāūdanagara'') is a town and the subdivisional headquarter of Daudnagar Subdivision in Aurangabad district in the state of Bihar, India under the Magadh division.
