Suat Kınıklıoğlu
Suat Kınıklıoğlu (born 1 May 1965 in Duisburg, Germany) is a Turkish politician, writer and analyst. Kınıklıoğlu began his political career in 1995-1996 with the Democratic Left Party (DSP) in Ankara. Following a break in politics Kınıklıoğlu was elected as Member of Parliament representing Çankırı in the general election of 22 July 2007. During his time in Parliament Kınıklıoğlu was spokesman of the foreign affairs committee in the Turkish Parliament (2007-2011), member of the Turkey Group of the NATO Parliamentary Assembly and chairman of the Turkey-USA Interparliamentary Friendship Group. In 2012 he resigned from the AKP and became a critic of his former party. In 2014 he ran the election campaign of the CHP Ankara mayoral candidate Mr. Mansur Yavas. Democratic Left Party (Turkey)
The Democratic Left Party (, DSP) is a Turkish political party, founded on 14 November 1985 by Rahşan Ecevit. History 1985–1999 The DSP, a social-democratic oriented party, was registered on 14 November 1985 by Rahşan Ecevit, wife of Bülent Ecevit, as he was banned from political life after the 1980 coup d'état. In 1986, Bülent Ecevit addressed the DSP convention in Ankara, declaring his support for the party. The address landed him in court for allegedly violating the political bans. The DSP was unable, however, to achieve a substantial showing in the 1986 Turkish parliamentary by-elections even though Ecevit, despite his ban, continued to campaign at the party's rallies as a "guest speaker". Mansur Yavaş
Mansur Yavaş (; born 23 May 1955) is a Turkish lawyer and politician who is currently the Mayor of Ankara, holding the office since April 2019. He was elected in the 2019 Ankara mayoral election as the candidate of the Nation Alliance (Turkey), Nation Alliance, an opposition alliance formed by the Republican People's Party (CHP) and the Good Party. A lawyer by profession, Yavaş originally entered politics as a nationalist politician. He was the Nationalist Movement Party (MHP) Mayor of Beypazarı, a district of Ankara, in the 1999 Turkish local elections. He served until 2009 and left the MHP in 2013. Turkish Air Force Academy
The Turkish Air Force Academy (TAFA; ) is a co-educational military academy located in Istanbul, Turkey. It is part of the National Defence University. It is the main human resource for the Turkish Air Force Command. It was founded in 1951, replacing the Army Flight School, with the mandate to train the officers of the Turkish Air Force. The academy provides an engineering education to Air Force cadets from Turkey as well as a number of other countries, and prepares them for careers in their respective Air Forces.
