Styles P
David R. Styles (born November 28, 1974), better known by his stage name Styles P (also known Mononymous person, mononymously as Styles), is an American rapper, best known as a member of East Coast hip hop group the Lox. Formed with fellow rappers Sheek Louch and Jadakiss in 1994, the group was also part of the Ruff Ryders Entertainment collective. As a solo act, Styles signed with Ruff Ryders' parent label, Interscope Records to release his debut studio album, ''A Gangster and a Gentleman'' (2002). Its lead single, "Good Times (Styles P song), Good Times," peaked at number 22 on the US Billboard Hot 100, ''Billboard'' Hot 100, while the album peaked at number six on the Billboard 200, ''Billboard'' 200. That same year, he guest appeared alongside Jadakiss on Jennifer Lopez' single "Jenny from the Block," while two years later, he did so on Senegalese-American singer Akon's 2004 single "Locked Up (song), Locked Up;" both songs peaked within the top ten of the former chart.
