Studio TF1
Studio TF1 (formerly known as Newen and later Newen Studios) is a French television production company, the producers of such shows as ''Versailles'', ''Braquo'', and ''Plus belle la vie''. In November 2015, TF1, France's leading television network, bought a 70% share of Fabrice Larue's FLCP, the holding company of Newen. Newen is the second-largest producer of drama in France. It owns Telfrance, Agence CAPA, Be Aware and 17 juin Me, with Telfrance producing the soap, ''Plus belle la vie''. Capa is the producer of ''Braquo'' and ''Versailles''. In May 2017, Newen Group launched a €50 million investment fund focused on acquiring British drama. In 2018, it was announced that Newen had acquired a 60% equity interest in production outfit, Punkin, through Tuvalu Media Group. It was also announced that Newen acquired a 33% equity stake in the Danish studio Nimbus Film. TF1 Group
TF1 Group () is a French media holding company. Its best-known property is the broadcast network TF1. The group was formed after TF1 was privatized in April 1987 in which the channel was launched back on January 6 1975 twelve years prior. It is controlled with a 43% stake by industrial group Bouygues, and is quoted on Euronext Paris. Nimbus Film is Denmark's third largest film production company. Nimbus Film has to date produced more than 30 feature films and many shorts and documentaries. It was established in May 2025 following the rebranding of Reel One Entertainment and Johnson Production Group (JPG). ''Versailles'' is historical drama television series, set during the construction of the Palace of Versailles during the reign of Louis XIV. Braquo
''Braquo'' is a French crime drama television series created by Olivier Marchal. It was produced by Capa Drama with the participation of Canal+ in association with Marathon Group, Be-Films and RTBF. Braquo was first broadcast in France from 12 October to 2 November 2009. The first season of ''Braquo'' established a record audience for an original production of the channel and surpassed that of many U.S. productions broadcast by the network. The second season started on Canal+ on 21 November 2011. A third and apparently final season was announced by lead actor Jean-Hugues Anglade in 2011.
