Stucchi was an Italian professional cycling team that existed in part between 1909 and 1951. Its main sponsor was Italian company Stucchi & Co. Luigi Malabrocca
Luigi Malabrocca (22 June 1920 – 1 October 2006) was an Italian road cyclist. He formed a rivalry with Sante Carollo for the Maglia nera at the Giro d'Italia. He 'won' the rivalry, earning the jersey twice to Carollo's once. While noted for his rivalry, he was also an accomplished cyclist. He won the Italian National Cyclo-cross Championships in 1951 and 1953, as well as winning the 1947 Paris-Nantes, the 1948 Coppa Ugo Agostoni and the 1949 Tour of Yugoslavia. Road bicycle racing is the cycle sport discipline of road cycling, held primarily on Road surface, paved roads. Road racing is the most popular professional form of bicycle racing, in terms of numbers of competitors, events and spectators. Prinetti & Stucchi, later Stucchi & Co., was an Italian maker of sewing machines, bicycles and motorized vehicles, established in Milan in 1883. It was owned by engineers and politicians Augusto Stucchi and Giulio Prinetti (1851–1908). Cycle manufacture In 1892 Stucchi Prinetti & Stucchi began manufacturing bicycles. In 1914 Alfonso Calzolari rode a Stucchi to victory in the 1914 Giro d'Italia, Giro d'Italia, and the 1919 Giro d'Italia was won by Costante Girardengo on a Stucchi. Motor manufacture In 1899 Prinetti & Stucchi started manufacturing motorized tricycles and Quadracycle, quadricycles. The ''Tipo 1'', a motorized tricycle utilizing two de Dion-Bouton, De Dion engines and a Rochet-Schneider frame, was designed by Ettore Bugatti.
