Albin Ström
Johan Albin Ström (28 November 1892 in Åmål Municipality, Ånimskog – 22 June 1962) was a Sweden, Swedish socialist politician from Gothenburg. As a young Swedish Social Democratic Party, Social Democrat, Ström joined Zeth Höglund in 1917 when the party was split in two, as Höglund's radical left-wing was expelled. The left-wing soon formed the Vänsterpartiet, Swedish Communist Party, but in 1923 Ström left the CP and rejoined the Social Democratic Party. From 1928 Albin Ström was member of the Parliament of Sweden, Riksdag, first as a Swedish Social Democratic Party, Social Democrat, then as a member of the Socialist Party (Sweden, 1929), Kilbom Communist Party, and from 1940 as party leader for the Left Socialist Party (Sweden), Left Socialist Party. Israel Af Ström
Israel af Ström (5 September 1778 – 24 October 1856) was a Swedish botanist and forestry researcher. He introduced systematic forest management in Sweden and initiated the founding the Swedish National Forest Institute. Biography Israel Adolf Ström was born in Stockholm, Sweden. He was the son of Erland Ström (1736 – 1806) and his wife Juliana Schröder (1752 – 1833). His father was the inspector for the Royal Djurgården. He was enrolled at Uppsala University in 1789. Between 1820 and 1850 he was curator of the Royal Djurgården. In 1828, Israel af Ström initiated the founding the National Forest Institute (''Skogsinstitutet'') which in 1915 was made into a college (''Skogshögskolan'') and in 1977 became part of the Swedish University of Agricultural Sciences. He was elected in 1838 as member of the Royal Swedish Academy of Sciences. Ström wrote the main textbook about forestry in Sweden entitled'' Förslag till en Förbättrad Skogshushållning i Sverige ''(1822). ...

The 1912 Summer Olympics (), officially known as the Games of the V Olympiad () and commonly known as Stockholm 1912, were an international multi-sport event held in Stockholm, Sweden, between 6 July and 22 July 1912. The opening ceremony was held on 6 July. Twenty-eight nations and 2,408 competitors, including 48 women, competed in 102 events in 14 sports. With the exception of tennis (starting on 5 May) and football and shooting (both starting on 29 June), the games were held within a month with an official opening on 6 July. It was the last Olympics to issue solid gold medals and, with Japan at the 1912 Summer Olympics, Japan's debut, the first time an official team from an Asian nation participated. Nikke Ström (born 8 June 1951) is a Swedish rock musician, mostly known as the bass player in Nationalteatern. Ström was born and raised in Karlskoga, where he played in different bands. Karin Ström (born 1977) is a Swedish singer and writer. Music Born in the small town of Kristianstad, Sweden, as the daughter of poet Eva Ström, Karin relocated to London in 1997 where she started to record homemade demos, sung in English with a classic singer-songwriter sound. One of these demos reached Nettwerk America, who offered her a deal and financed the recording of an album. Karin moved to Los Angeles and a five track EP was released, but a couple of months later she got dropped, which meant her finished album never came out. After five years in London and one in LA, Karin decided to move back to Stockholm. Otto Fredrik Ström (10 July 1880 – 23 November 1948) was a Swedish politician, editor and a prolific writer.
