Striped Entertainment is an American film distributor and international sales company. The company was formed in 2012 and specializes in foreign and independent films. One of the first films distributed by Striped Entertainment was the Scottish chiller ''Graders'', which was wrongly reported to be in part based on a real life criminal case but in fact was totally fictional. The first theatrical release was the feature film ''Brief Reunion ''Brief Reunion'' is a 2011 American thriller film featuring Joel de la Fuente as Aaron, a successful New England entrepreneur who is haunted by the sudden arrival of a mysterious old friend from his past. Stuart McQuarrie (born 19 March 1963) is a Scottish actor who has starred in several acclaimed films, including '' Trainspotting'' and ''28 Days Later''. Emily Alice Lloyd-Pack (born 29 September 1970), known as Emily Lloyd, is an English actress. At the age of 16, she starred in her debut and breakthrough role in the 1987 film '' Wish You Were Here'', for which she received critical acclaim and Best Actress awards from the National Society of Film Critics and the Evening Standard British Film Awards. Michael Gunther is a producer, director and writer. Gunther started out in feature films after a career as a commercials director in Europe that spanned almost a decade, and included collaborations with Russell Boyd. He later turned his sights to documentary and feature films and started producing TV documentaries with his own company, including a portrait of acclaimed painter Hans Falk and an account of the devastating 1999 earthquake in Turkey. ''Acqua Fuori Dal Ring'' () is 2012 Italian film written and directed by Joel Stangle, and co-written by Esther Stangle in Arabic and Italian. The film uses a largely Cinéma vérité style, and the director employed non-professional actors and an improvised script, shooting in Catania, Sicily. The film parallels the lives of two boxers living in Catania, one a Sicilian native, and the other a Tunisian migrant worker.
