Strictly Come Dancing (series 7)
''Strictly Come Dancing'' returned for its seventh series on 18 September 2009 on BBC One. Bruce Forsyth and Tess Daly returned as presenters of the main show on BBC One, while Claudia Winkleman presented the spin-off show '' Strictly Come Dancing: It Takes Two'' on BBC Two. Len Goodman, Craig Revel Horwood, and Bruno Tonioli returned as judges. Series 5 winner Alesha Dixon joined the judging panel as a replacement for Arlene Phillips. Darcey Bussell served as a guest judge beginning with the quarterfinal. Camilla Dallerup, Karen Hardy, and Hayley Holt were replaced as professional female dancers by Natalie Lowe, Aliona Vilani, and Katya Virshilas. The show on 7 November was filmed from the Blackpool Tower Ballroom for the first time since the finale of series 2. Due to illness, Bruce Forsyth did not appear in the show on 14 November. Chris Hollins (broadcaster)
Christopher Jonathan Hollins (born 20 March 1971) is an English journalist, presenter and TV personality. Hollins is best known for being the sports correspondent for ''BBC Breakfast'' until 2012 and for winning ''Strictly Come Dancing'' 2009. Hollins presented the BBC consumer rights series ''Watchdog'' from 2010 until 2015. Early life Hollins was born into a footballing family in Bromley, south London. His father was John Hollins, the former Chelsea, Arsenal, Queens Park Rangers and England footballer. His uncle David was a goalkeeper and played for Newcastle United as well as Wales, winning eleven caps. Hollins was educated at Bickley Park School in Bromley and Tonbridge School. ''Strictly Come Dancing'' returned for its fifth series on 29 September 2007 on BBC One. Bruce Forsyth and Tess Daly returned as co-presenters of the main show on BBC One, while Claudia Winkleman returned to present spin-off show '' Strictly Come Dancing: It Takes Two'' on BBC Two. Len Goodman, Arlene Phillips, Craig Revel Horwood, and Bruno Tonioli returned to the judging panel. The first programme was a catch-up show and preview of the new series before the start of the competition on 6 October. In a change to the previous format, the results show aired on Sunday rather than later on Saturday. Mis-Teeq singer Alesha Dixon and Matthew Cutler were announced as the winners on 22 December, while ''EastEnders'' actor Matt Di Angelo and Flavia Cacace finished in second place. Ricky Whittle
Richard George Whittle (born 31 December 1979) is a British actor. Whittle first came to prominence as a model for Reebok in the early 2000s. Aliona Valeriya Kavanagh (''née'' Vilani on 1 May 1984; ), also known by her stage name Aliona Vilani, is a Russian-Kazakh TV personality and was a professional dancer in the BBC series of ''Strictly Come Dancing''.
