Sometimes Late At Night
''Sometimes Late at Night'' is the third and last solo album by songwriter Carole Bayer Sager, released in 1981. Singles from the album were ''Stronger Than Before'' (later recorded by Dionne Warwick and Chaka Khan), and ''Easy To Love Again''. The track co-written with Neil Diamond, ''On The Way To The Sky'', served as the title to his album released a few months later and reached the top 40 as a single in 1982. The producer and composer was Burt Bacharach. After this album, they married and wrote many songs including "Arthur's Theme (Best That You Can Do)" and "That's What Friends Are For", until their divorce. ''Sometimes Late at Night'' is a concept album, which flows from song to song, with no breaks in between throughout each side of the LP or cassette edition. The US CD release suffered from bad packaging, incorrect information and skips in the CD track; but the Japanese-remastered CD (now re-released with paper jacket) was perfect, and included the correct and original l ...

View From The Ground
''View from the Ground'' is the tenth studio album by American folk rock duo America, released by Capitol Records in July 1982. This album marked a comeback for a group that had been generally written off since Dan Peek's departure five years before. It was a modest hit in the US, reaching number 41 on the ''Billboard'' album chart, and produced two hit singles: " You Can Do Magic" reached number eight on the ''Billboard'' singles chart and number five on the adult contemporary chart, and " Right Before Your Eyes" (also popularly known as "Rudolph Valentino") peaked at 45 on the ''Billboard'' singles chart and 16 on the adult contemporary chart. " You Can Do Magic" spent more time on the charts, 20 weeks, than any other America single. Alibi (America Album)
''Alibi'' is the ninth studio album by American folk rock duo America, released by Capitol Records in 1980. History Prior to their second album on Capitol, Bunnell and Beckley amicably parted ways with George Martin in an effort to try a new musical direction. For the new album, the group utilized two producers -- Matthew McCauley and Fred Mollin. While ''Silent Letter'' was recorded by Bunnell, Beckley and their backing band (Willie Leacox, Michael Woods, David Dickey and Jim Calire), ''Alibi'' was a virtual roll-call of the burgeoning West Coast music scene. The recording included musicians such as Timothy B. Schmit, Waddy Wachtel, Mike Baird, Lee Sklar, Richard Page, Norton Buffalo and Steve Lukather. ''Alibi'', released in August 1980, was the second America album not to feature a picture of the band members on the cover. (The first was a Kauai sunset photo on "Harbor," where that album was recorded.) Instead, the cover sported a picture of a doll's head in the foreground of ...

This tracking period also applies to compiling online streaming data. Radio airplay, which, unlike sales figures and streaming, is readily available on a real-time basis, is also tracked on a Friday to Thursday cycle effective with the chart dated July 17, 2021 (previously Monday to Sunday and before July 2015, Wednesday to Tuesday).
