Stetson Hatters
The Stetson Hatters are composed of 18 teams representing Stetson University in intercollegiate athletics. The Hatters compete in the Division I FCS, NCAA Division I Football Championship Subdivision (FCS) and are primary members of the Atlantic Sun Conference for most sports, excluding the university's football program, which competes in the Pioneer Football League. Stetson University
Stetson University is a private university in DeLand, Florida, United States. Established in 1883 as DeLand Academy, it was later renamed John B. Stetson University in honor of John B. Stetson. The university's main campus in DeLand spans 175 acres and is composed of four colleges and schools: the College of Arts and Sciences, the School of Music, the School of Business Administration, and the Stetson University College of Law. History Stetson University was founded in 1883 as DeLand Academy after Henry Addison DeLand, the principal founder of the town. In 1887, the institution was incorporated as DeLand University. ASUN Conference
The Atlantic Sun Conference (ASUN) is a collegiate athletic conference operating mostly in the Southeastern United States. The league participates at the NCAA Division I level, and began sponsoring football at the Division I FCS level in 2022. Originally established as the Trans America Athletic Conference (TAAC) in 1978, it was renamed as the Atlantic Sun Conference in 2001, and briefly rebranded as the ASUN Conference from 2016 to 2023. Logan Gilbert
Logan Keith Gilbert (born May 5, 1997) is an American professional baseball pitcher for the Seattle Mariners of Major League Baseball (MLB). He made his MLB debut in 2021. Amateur career Gilbert attended Wekiva High School in Apopka, Florida. He pitched and played first base in high school. He was named his team MVP his senior season. He reached 90 miles per hour on his fastball in 2014 and was the 500th best high school prospect in 2015, according to Perfect Game. The Texas Rangers are an American professional baseball team based in the Dallas–Fort Worth metroplex. The Rangers compete in Major League Baseball (MLB) as a member club of the American League (AL) American League West, West Division. Jacob DeGrom
Jacob Anthony deGrom (born June 19, 1988) is an American professional baseball pitcher for the Texas Rangers of Major League Baseball (MLB). He has previously played in MLB for the New York Mets. DeGrom began playing baseball as a shortstop and was converted into a pitcher during his junior year at Stetson University. The Mets selected him in the ninth round of the 2010 MLB draft and he made his major league debut with them on May 15, 2014. Fredrik Brustad (; born 22 June 1989) is a Norwegian football forward who plays for KFUM. Club career Brustad was born in Oslo, and played for Ullern and Lyn in his youth. After spending three years of his college soccer career at Stetson University, he signed a contract with the Tippeligaen side Stabæk in August 2011. Collegiate wrestling, commonly referred to as folkstyle wrestling, is the form of wrestling practiced at the post-secondary level in the United States. This style of wrestling is also practiced at the high school, middle school, and elementary levels with some modifications. The Association for Intercollegiate Athletics for Women (AIAW) was a college athletics organization in the United States, founded in 1971 to govern women's college competitions in the country and to administer national championships (see AIAW Champions).
