''Stenopelix'' (meaning "narrow pelvis") is a genus of probable basal ceratopsian from the Early Cretaceous of Germany. It lived in the late Berriasian Stage of the Cretaceous period, approximately 140 myr ago.Holtz, Thomas R. Ornithopoda () is a clade of ornithischian dinosaurs, called ornithopods (). They represent one of the most successful groups of herbivorous dinosaurs during the Cretaceous. The most primitive members of the group were bipedal and relatively small-sized, while advanced members of the subgroup Iguanodontia became quadrupedal and developed large body size. Teresa Maryańska
Teresa Maryańska (1937 – 3 October 2019) was a Polish paleontologist who specialized in Mongolian dinosaurs, particularly pachycephalosaurians and ankylosaurians. She is considered not only as one of Poland's but also one of the world's leading experts on dinosaurs. Career Initially, Mary's studies were regarding invertebrate paleontology. However, she became a member of the 1964, 1965, 1970, and 1971 Polish–Mongolian expeditions to the Gobi Desert, and changed her focus. She described many finds from these fossils, often with Halszka Osmólska. In 1974, Maryanska and Halszka Osmólska were among the first "women to describe new kinds of dinosaurs". Since 1961, Maryańska was affiliated with the Muzeum Ziemi of the Polska Akademia Nauk and was vice-director there from 1976 to 2006, when she retired. In vertebrates, the pubis or pubic bone () forms the lower and anterior part of each side of the hip bone. Christian Erich Hermann von Meyer (3 September 1801 – 2 April 1869), known as Hermann von Meyer, was a German palaeontologist.
