Steamboy
is a 2004 Anime, Japanese animated steampunk action film directed and co-written by Katsuhiro Otomo, produced by Bandai Namco Filmworks, Sunrise, it is his second major anime as a director, following ''Akira (1988 film), Akira'' (1988). The film was released in Japan by Toho on July 17, 2004. Katsuhiro Otomo
is a Japanese Mangaka, manga artist, screenwriter, animator, and film director. He first rose to prominence as a pioneer founder of the New Wave (manga), New Wave in the 1970s. He is best known as the creator of ''Akira (franchise), Akira'', both the Akira (manga), original 1982 manga series and the Akira (1988 film), 1988 animated film adaptation. In 2005, Otomo was decorated a ''Chevalier'' of the French Ordre des Arts et des Lettres, promoted to ''Officier'' of the order in 2014, and became the fourth manga artist ever inducted into the American List of Eisner Award winners#The Will Eisner Award Hall of Fame, Eisner Award Hall of Fame in 2012. Steve Jablonsky (born October 9, 1970) is an American composer for film, television, and video games, best known for his musical scores in the ''Transformers'' film series, ''Desperate Housewives'', and '' The Sims 3''. was a Japanese anime, film production, and distribution company, established by Bandai and a subsidiary of Bandai Namco Holdings.
