Stath Lets Flats
''Stath Lets Flats'' is a British sitcom created by Jamie Demetriou that aired on Channel 4 from 27 June 2018 to 30 November 2021. The series stars Demetriou as Stath, an awkward and bumbling English Cypriot man who is employed at a London letting agent solely because his father owns it. Demetriou co-wrote the series with Robert Popper. The series also stars Demetriou's sister Natasia Demetriou as Stath's sister Sophie, Christos Stergioglou as his father and boss Vasos, Katy Wix and Kiell Smith-Bynoe as his co-workers Carole and Dean, Ellie White as Sophie's friend Katia, and Al Roberts as Stath's co-worker and only friend Al. Alex Beckett had an early role as Marcus, and the show was dedicated to him following his suicide between the show's production and broadcast. Jamie Demetriou
Jamie Demetriou (; born 1 November 1987) is an English comedian, actor and screenwriter. He is known for his role as Bus Rodent in ''Fleabag'' and for creating, co-writing, and starring in '' Stath Lets Flats''. For the latter, he won Best Male Actor in a Comedy, Best Writer of a Comedy, and Best Scripted Comedy at the 2020 BAFTA Awards. Early life Demetriou was born in the Friern Barnet area of London the son of an English mother and Greek-Cypriot father. His elder sister, Natasia Demetriou, is a comedian and actress with whom he often collaborates. He attended The Compton School in North Finchley and joined the Chickenshed Theatre in Southgate, then attended Bristol University. Comic Relief is a British charity, founded in 1986 by the comedy scriptwriter Richard Curtis and comedian Sir Lenny Henry in response to the 1983–1985 famine in Ethiopia. The concept of Comic Relief was to get British comedians to make the public laugh, while raising money to help people around the world and in the United Kingdom. A new CEO, Samir Patel, was announced in January 2021. The highlight of Comic Relief's appeal is Red Nose Day, an annual (previously biennial) telethon held in March. Charlie Cooper (born 16 June 1989) is an English actor and writer, known for his role as Lee "Kurtan" Mucklowe in the BBC Three series '' This Country'', which he co-created and co-wrote alongside his older sister, Daisy May Cooper.
