Stanley Jackson (born March 24, 1975) is a former American football quarterback who played in the Canadian Football League (CFL) and Continental Indoor Football League (CIFL). He was also the co-owner of the CIFL's Marion Mayhem. College career Jackson played college football for the Ohio State Buckeyes, where he alternated with Joe Germaine at the quarterback position. He was part of the 1996 team that won the 1997 Rose Bowl. Professional career Montreal Alouettes In 1999 and 2000, Jackson played quarterback for the Montreal Alouettes in the CFL. In two seasons, Jackson completed 50 of 90 passes for 679 yards with one touchdown and three interceptions. During his time as a football player, Stanley Jackson would periodically work as a staff member at The Lords Ranch in Warm Springs, Arkansas. Stanley Leon Jackson (born October 10, 1970) is an American former professional basketball player, at the shooting guard position. He played briefly in the National Basketball Association (NBA), as well as several other top leagues around the world. Born in Tuskegee, Alabama, Jackson played collegiately at the University of Alabama-Birmingham, after attending the Valley High School in Valley, Alabama. Undrafted in 1993, he made the Minnesota Timberwolves' roster for the upcoming season, going on to appear in 17 regular season matches in his only National Basketball Association spell. Stanley Jackson (1914–1981) was a Canadian film director, producer, writer and narrator with the National Film Board of Canada (NFB). Biography Jackson began his career as a schoolteacher in Winnipeg, before taking a teaching position in Toronto. There, in 1942, he was hired by NFB producer Stuart Legg to conduct research for the new NFB series ''Canada Carries On''. He wrote and directed the first film he worked on, ''The Battle of the Harvests, Battle of the Harvests''. At the time, Tom Daly (filmmaker), Tom Daly was putting together the NFB's now-famous Unit B; Jackson and Colin Low (filmmaker), Colin Low were its first two members.
