StandWithUs (SWU) (also known as Israel Emergency Alliance) is a nonprofit right-wing pro-Israel advocacy organization founded in Los Angeles in 2001 by Roz Rothstein, Jerry Rothstein, and Esther Renzer. StandWithUs has gained prominence as a leading pro-Israel advocacy group. It maintains a significant presence on university campuses throughout the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, South Africa, Australia and Brazil. The organization aims to combat what it perceives as antisemitism and misinformation related to Israel while promoting a positive image of the country. It trains students in pro-Israel advocacy, organizes protests, runs billboard and ad campaigns, and files complaints on the behalf of students. Roz Rothstein
Roz Rothstein (born 1952–1953) is the founder and CEO of the Zionist group StandWithUs. She has been recognized by both ''The Forward'' and ''The Jerusalem Post'' as one of the most influential Jews in the world. Early life and education Rothstein is the daughter of Holocaust survivors. She was an active member of Bnei Akiva while growing up. In the 1970s, she led the summer camp and after-school programming at the Westside Jewish Community Center. Career Rothstein served on the board of directors at Temple Emanu-El and Temple Isiah. She then worked as a family therapist for more than 20 years prior to founding StandWithUs in 2001. Naty Saidoff (born 1954/1955) is an Israeli-born American diamond dealer, real estate investor and philanthropist. Born in Israel, he grew up on a kibbutz and emigrated to the United States for college. He started his career as a diamond dealer. Adam Milstein (; born 1952) is an Israeli American investor and philanthropist. He is a managing partner at Hager Pacific Properties. World Zionist Congress
The Zionist Congress was established in 1897 by Theodor Herzl as the supreme organ of the World Zionist Organization, Zionist Organization (ZO) and its legislative authority. Jewish Voice for Peace (JVP; ) is an American Jewish anti-Zionist and left-wing advocacy organization. It is critical of Israel's occupation of the Palestinian territories, and supports the Boycott, Divestment and Sanctions (BDS) campaign against Israel. The group was formed in 1996, and as of 2024 had grown to over 32,000 active dues-paying members. Its chapters at Columbia and George Washington universities were suspended in 2024.
