Orăşenesc Stadium is a multi-purpose stadium in Ovidiu, Romania. It has approximately 400 seats. It is currently used mostly for football training and matches, and is the home ground of CSO Ovidiu. Ovidiu
Ovidiu (, historical name: ''Canara'', ) is a town situated a few kilometres north of Constanța in Constanța County, Northern Dobruja, Romania. Ovidiu is quite small, with a population of 13,968 as of 2021, and many wealthy inhabitants of Constanța retire there. It officially became a town in 1989, as a result of the Romanian rural systematization program. In 1930, the town was renamed ''Ovidiu'' after the Roman poet Ovid (). He was supposedly buried on a nearby small island (also called ''Ovidiu'') in the Siutghiol Lake. Fotbal Club Viitorul Constanța (), commonly known as Viitorul Constanța or simply Viitorul, was a Romanian professional football club based in Ovidiu, Constanța County. They last played their home matches in blue and black kits at the Stadionul Viitorul, situated a few kilometres north of the city of Constanța. Fotbal Club Viitorul II Constanța, commonly known as Viitorul II Constanța () or simply Viitorul II, was the reserve squad of Romanian first league side, Viitorul Constanța. History The team was founded in the summer of 2014 from the desire to have a team of seniors where the players who just finished the youth academy can be accommodated with the level of seniors in the idea of being subsequently promoted to the first team.
