Stadionul Municipal (Vaslui)
The Vaslui Municipal Stadium is a multi-purpose stadium in Vaslui, Romania. It is used mostly for Association football, football matches and is the home ground of CSM Vaslui (football), CSM Vaslui and CS Sporting Vaslui, Sporting Vaslui. The stadium has 9,240 seats, and it is covered by natural grass. The floodlighting system, with a density of 2000 lux, has been inaugurated in 2008. Vaslui (), a city in eastern Romania, is the seat of Vaslui County, in the historical region of Western Moldavia. The city administers five villages: Bahnari, Brodoc, Moara Grecilor, Rediu, and Viișoara. History Archaeological surveys indicate that the territory of Vaslui was inhabited since the Neolithic. From the 14th century onwards, it developed as the provincial town of Vaslui, with a population that fluctuated considerably in the following centuries. The name of Vaslui appears first in a Polish document from 1375, referring to Koriat's son Yuri Koriatovich. Clubul Sportiv Municipal Vaslui, commonly known as CSM Vaslui, or simply as Vaslui, is a Romanian football team based in Vaslui, Vaslui County, currently playing in the Liga III. The team represents the football section of the multi-sport club CSM Vaslui, which also include basketball, athletics and handball sections. History CSM Vaslui was established in the summer of 2018 as a multi-sport club. The football section was enrolled directly in the Liga IV – Vaslui County, the fourth tier of the Romanian football league system. Fotbal Club Vaslui, commonly known as FC Vaslui, or simply as Vaslui (), was a Romanian professional football club based in Vaslui, Vaslui County, founded in 2002 and dissolved in 2014. Its official club colours were yellow and green, hence the nickname "the Yellow and Greens".
