Stadionul Municipal is a multi-purpose stadium in Roșiorii de Vede, Romania. It is currently used mostly for association football, football matches, is the home ground of CS Sporting Roșiori, Sporting Roșiori and has a capacity of 5,000 people (2,000 on seats). In the past, the stadium was the home ground of other local teams such as CFR Roșiori, Rova Roșiori or Juventus Roșiori. Roșiorii De Vede
Roșiorii de Vede (; sometimes Roșiori de Vede or, in old versions, Rușii de Vede) is a city in Teleorman County, Romania. Located in the Muntenia region, it is one of the oldest cities in the country. It was first mentioned in a document which dates back to 1385, when the city was visited by two German pilgrims who were returning from Jerusalem and stopped for a few days in a town they called ''Russenart''. Geography The city is situated in the middle of the Wallachian Plain, on the banks of the Vedea River and its right tributary, the Bratcov. It is located in the central-west part of Teleorman County, at a distance of from the county seat, Alexandria. It neighbors the following communes: Măldăeni to the west, Peretu and Troianul to the south, Vedea and Drăgănești de Vede to the east, and Scrioaștea to the north. Clubul Sportiv Sporting Roșiori de Vede, commonly known as Sporting Roșiori de Vede or simply as Sporting Roșiori is a Romanian professional football club based in Roșiorii de Vede, Teleorman County, and is the unofficial successor of former team Rova Roșiori (dissolved in 2008). History County Leagues (2008–2014) In their first season they take a place in the Liga IV, 2008–09 Liga IV – Teleorman County from Real Beuca and finished on the third place. Next two years they finished fourth.
