Stadion Trešnjica
Trešnjica Stadium is a football stadium in Golubovci ( Zeta Municipality), Montenegro. It is used for football matches and is the home ground of FK Zeta. History The football stadium at Trešnica location, at Golubovci, was built in 1996, following the season in which FK Zeta gained its first promotion to the Yugoslav Second League. Until now, the stadium was renovated a few times (last time in 2016) and near the main ground is built another pitch with artificial turf. FK Zeta was played First League games at Trešnjica stadium from 2000 to 2022. Historical first game in the top-league, Zeta played on 12 August 2000 was against Milicionar (4:0) in Golubovci. That game at Trešnica stadium was attended by 5,000 supporters. The Biggest crowd at games was 5,000 in numerous occasions, especially during the matches against Budućnost and, earlier, against Partizan and Crvena zvezda. Golubovci
Golubovci (, ) is a small town in the new Zeta Municipality of Montenegro. Until 2022, it was part of Podgorica Municipality. Golubovci is the seat of the new municipality. The town has 3,110 residents according to 2011 census, while the surrounding Zeta Municipality accounts for some 16,093 residents. Transport Podgorica Airport is occasionally referred to as Golubovci Airport by locals, due to its proximity to the town. Golubovci is located next to the M-2, Podgorica - Bar road ( E65/ E80), main Montenegrin road connection between the coast and northern part of the country. Part of this road went through the centre of Golubovci causing frequent traffic jams during the summer tourist season which led to construction of 4-lane dual carriageway, the Golubovci Bypass, in 2018. Podgorica ( cnr-Cyrl, Подгорица; ) is the Capital city, capital and List of cities and towns in Montenegro, largest city of Montenegro. The Zeta Plain ( cnr-Latn-Cyrl, Zetska ravnica, Зетска равница, separator=" / ", ) is a fertile lowland in Montenegro. It stretches from Podgorica in the north to the Skadar Lake in the south. It is the biggest plains area in Montenegro, with an average elevation around above sea level. The name "Zeta" derives from an early root meaning "harvest" or "grain" (modern words žetva and žito). Podgorica City Stadium ( cnr-Latn, Stadion pod Goricom, Стадион под Горицом) is an all-seater multi-purpose stadium in Podgorica, Montenegro. Its seating capacity changed over the years due to several renovations, as of 2019 it has 11,080 seats. The stadium is the home ground of the Montenegro national team and Budućnost. History Podgorica City Stadium was built in 1945, following World War II. Before the war, Budućnost and other clubs from Podgorica played their matches in a field near that location. The stadium's original capacity was around 5,000 spectators. The stadium burned down completely in 1952, but was later rebuilt, with a new capacity of about 17,000 seats.
