Hybrid grass or reinforced natural grass is a product created by combining natural lawn grass with reinforcing synthetic fibres. It is used for stadiums and training pitches used for association football, rugby, gridiron football and cricket. Reinforced natural grass can also be used for events and concerts. Union Sportive Bressane is a general sports club based in the town of Bourg-en-Bresse, France. The club has competed for the past few years in France's third division, Nationale. During the 2007–08 season, they managed to reach the final of the Jean-Prat championship and faced a surging US Colomiers side. US Bressane was easily defeated 36-3, but thanks to reaching the final this still earned the club automatic promotion to the second division of France, Rugby Pro D2 for 2008-09. The Pro D2 is the second tier of rugby union club competition division in France. It is operated by Ligue Nationale de Rugby (LNR) which also runs the division directly above, the first division Top 14. Rugby Pro D2 was introduced in 2000. It is the world's best supported second tier rugby union league. Season structure There are 30 rounds in the regular season, with each team playing each other home and away. Oyonnax Rugby () is a French professional rugby union club based in Oyonnax and competing in the Pro D2.
