Doboj ( sr-Cyrl, Добој, ) is a city in Republika Srpska, Bosnia and Herzegovina. It is situated on the banks of the Bosna (river), Bosna river, in the northern region of Republika Srpska. As of 2013, it has a population of 71,441 inhabitants. Doboj is the largest national railway junction and the operational base of the Railways Corporation of Bosnia and Herzegovina. Snagovo
Snagovo ( sr-cyrl, Снагово) is a mountain village in the municipality of Zvornik, Bosnia and Herzegovina. It is divided into Gornje Snagovo (''Upper Snagovo'') and Donje Snagovo (''Lower Snagovo''). Bosnian War Snagovo was among the hardest hit villages at the start of the Bosnian War in 1992. Between April and June 1992, Serb forces ethnically cleansed the village of its Bosniak (Muslim) residents. 1992 massacre On 29 April 1992, a group of 36 Bosniak civilians were captured by Serbs hiding in the woods in Snagovo. They were killed, including children and pregnant women, and their corpses were burned in an effort to destroy evidence. Zvornik
Zvornik ( sr-cyrl, Зворник, ) is a city in Republika Srpska, Bosnia and Herzegovina. In 2013, it had a population of 58,856 inhabitants. Zvornik is located on the Drina River, on the eastern slopes of Majevica mountain, at the altitude of 146m. The town of Mali Zvornik ("Little Zvornik") lies directly across the river in Serbia. Kula Grad, a village that is part of Zvornik municipality, has a Middle Age fort, Zvornik fortress, built in the 12th century. Modrac Lake
Modrac Lake ( Bosnian: Jezero Modrac) is an artificial lake in Bosnia and Herzegovina. Located in the municipality of Lukavac, it is home to many species of fish and is popular with fishermen. A 2005 effort to turn it into a tourist attraction was unsuccessful because of local government neglect and inhabitants' practice of dumping garbage on the shore.
