''Sportsround'' is a spin-off from CBBC children's news programme '' Newsround''. The sports magazine show was broadcast weekly, between 2005 and 2010, on Friday evenings at 6:30pm on CBBC Channel and on Saturday mornings on BBC Two at 7.25am. It was first shown on BBC One on 10th September 2005 at 11.45am. ''Sportsround'' was the only sports television show in the UK that was specifically aimed at children. First broadcast in 2005, ''Sportsround'' was a well-known children's programme, regularly having big names on the show, including David Beckham, Lewis Hamilton, Jenson Button and Frank Lampard. The final episode aired on 11 December 2010. It was replaced by a new sports show ''Match of the Day Kickabout'', which airs in ''Sportsrounds original BBC Two slot on Saturday mornings. Ore Oduba
Ore Oduba (born 17 November 1985) is a British television and radio presenter who has also worked as an actor. From 2008 until 2013, he presented the CBBC news programme '' Newsround''. In 2018 he hosted the game show ''And They're Off!'' in aid of Sport Relief. In 2019 he began his musical theatre career, starring in the UK tour of '' Grease''. He also appeared alongside Jason Manford in '' Curtains the Musical''. Oduba made his West End debut in January 2020. Gavin Ramjaun (born 13 December 1981) is a British journalist known for his work with the BBC, Sky Sports and ITV Breakfast. His parents hail from Mauritius. He was born in Worcester. Education Ramjaun was educated at the University of Cardiff's Cardiff Business School, where he obtained two degrees, followed by City University London, where he obtained a Postgraduate Degree in Journalism.
