Sport Club Ulbra Ji-Paraná, or Ulbra Ji-Paraná as they are usually called, were a List of football clubs in Brazil, Brazilian football team from Ji-Paraná in Rondônia, Rondônia state, founded on April 1, 2005. Their home stadium was the Biancão, which has a maximum capacity of 4,400 people. They played in red and white colors. Ulbra Ji-Paraná competed in the Campeonato Brasileiro Série C, Série C and in the Copa do Brasil. History Sport Club Ulbra Ji-Paraná were founded by the Universidade Luterana do Brasil, Centro Universitário Luterano of Ji-Paraná on April 1, 2005. The club won their first achievement, which was the Campeonato Rondoniense (lower levels), Campeonato Rondoniense Second Level in the same year, beating Grêmio Recreativo e Esportivo, Grêmio of Espigão d'Oeste in the final. The Copa do Brasil 2008 was the 20th staging of the Copa do Brasil, starting on February 13, 2008 and finishing on June 11, 2008. It was played by 64 teams, either qualified through their respected state championships (54) or by the CBF Rankings (10). The clubs that played the Copa Libertadores 2008 didn't participate in the Copa do Brasil 2008 because of scheduling problems. It was won by Sport-PE. Format The tournament was played in two-legged knockout stages. In the first two rounds the away team automatically goes through to the next round if they beat the home team by a 2-goal difference or more in the first leg.
