The qualifying round for the 1984 European Football Championship consisted of 32 teams divided into seven groups; three of four teams and four of five teams. The qualifying round was played at various times between May 1982 and December 1983, with some groups concluding earlier than others. Michael Degiorgio
Michael Degiorgio (born 15 November 1962) is a Maltese former professional footballer. Degiorgio played as a midfielder until the end of his career, when he switched to a central defender. Degiorgio started his career with Hamrun Spartans and then also played for Naxxar Lions, Lija Athletic and Marsaxlokk. Degiorgio is now managing Fgura. Víctor Muñoz
Víctor Muñoz Manrique, (born 15 March 1957), known simply as Víctor as a player, is a Spanish retired football midfielder and manager. He spent most of his professional career with Barcelona, winning six titles and achieving La Liga totals of 332 games and 25 goals. In the competition, he also represented Zaragoza. Francisco José Carrasco Hidalgo (born 6 March 1959) is a Spanish former football player and manager. Nicknamed Lobo, he played as a winger and spent most of his 14-year professional career with Barcelona (11 seasons). José Antonio Camacho Alfaro (; born 8 June 1955) is a Spanish former football left-back and a former manager. Andoni Goikoetxea Olaskoaga (born 23 August 1956), Goiko for short, is a Spanish former football centre-back and manager. He was known for his aggressive play, and was nicknamed "The Butcher of Bilbao". Francisco "Paco" Buyo Sánchez (born 13 January 1958) is a Spanish former footballer who played as a goalkeeper. Antonio Maceda Francés (born 16 May 1957) is a Spanish former professional footballer. Though a central defender, he was known for his scoring ability. Hipólito "Poli" Rincón Povedano (born 28 April 1957) is a Spanish former footballer who played as a striker.
