It is maintained by the Django Software Foundation (DSF), an independent organization established in the US as a 501(c)(3) non-profit. Django's primary goal is to ease the creation of complex, Data-driven programming, database-driven websites. The framework emphasizes reusability and "pluggability" of components, less code, Loose coupling, low coupling, rapid development, and the principle of don't repeat yourself. Integrated Development Environment
An integrated development environment (IDE) is a Application software, software application that provides comprehensive facilities for software development. An IDE normally consists of at least a source-code editor, build automation tools, and a debugger. Some IDEs, such as IntelliJ IDEA, Eclipse (software), Eclipse and Lazarus (software), Lazarus contain the necessary compiler, interpreter (computing), interpreter or both; others, such as SharpDevelop and NetBeans, do not. The boundary between an IDE and other parts of the broader software development environment is not well-defined; sometimes a version control system or various tools to simplify the construction of a graphical user interface (GUI) are integrated. Many modern IDEs also have a class browser, an object browser, and a class diagram, class hierarchy diagram for use in object-oriented programming, object-oriented software development. Online Integrated Development Environment
An online integrated development environment, also known as a web IDE or cloud IDE, is an integrated development environment that can be accessed from a web browser. Online IDEs can be used without downloads or installation, instead operating fully within modern web browsers such as Firefox, Google Chrome or Microsoft Edge. Online IDEs can enable software development on low-powered devices that are normally unsuitable. An online IDE does not usually contain all of the same features as a traditional desktop IDE, only basic IDE features such as a source-code editor with syntax highlighting. Integrated version control and Read–Eval–Print Loop (REPL) may also be included. Notable examples * Coder * Cloud9 IDE * Codeanywhere * CodePen * Eclipse Che * Glitch * GitHub Codespaces * JSFiddle * Project IDX * Replit * SourceLair * StackBlitz * Visual Studio Code Visual Studio Code, commonly referred to as VS Code, is an integrated development environment developed by Microsof ...

Heroku
Heroku is a cloud platform as a service (PaaS) supporting several programming languages. As one of the first cloud platforms, Heroku has been in development since June 2007, when it supported only the Ruby programming language, but now also supports Java, Node.js, Scala, Clojure, Python, PHP, and Go. For this reason, Heroku is said to be a polyglot platform as it has features for a developer to build, run and scale applications in a similar manner across most of these languages. Heroku was acquired by Salesforce in 2010 for $212 million. History Heroku was initially developed by James Lindenbaum, Adam Wiggins, and Orion Henry for supporting projects that were compatible with the Ruby programming platform Rack. The prototype development took around six months. Later on, Heroku faced setbacks because of a lack of proper market customers as many app developers used their own tools and environment. In January 2009, a new platform was launched which was built almost from scra ...
