Sorana Cîrstea
Sorana Mihaela Cîrstea (; born 7 April 1990) is a Romanian professional tennis player. In singles, she achieved a career-high ranking of world No. 21 on 12 August 2013. In doubles, her career-best ranking is No. 35, which she reached on 9 March 2009. On the WTA Tour, she has won two singles and six doubles titles. Cîrstea's greatest achievements are the final at the 2013 Rogers Cup – Women's singles, 2013 Rogers Cup and the 2025 Mutua Madrid Open – Women's doubles, 2025 Madrid Open doubles title with Anna Kalinskaya. Early and personal life Sorana Cîrstea was born to Mihai and Liliana in Bucharest. She resides in Târgoviște, her parents' home town. She has a younger brother, Mihnea. Barbora Krejčíková and Kateřina Siniaková defeated Eri Hozumi and Makoto Ninomiya in the final, 6–3, 6–3 to win the women's doubles tennis title at the 2018 French Open.
