Sontaran
The Sontarans ( ) are a fictional race of extraterrestrial life, extraterrestrial humanoids principally portrayed in the British science fiction on television, science fiction television programme ''Doctor Who'' and its spin-off series ''The Sarah Jane Adventures''. A warrior race characterised by their ruthlessness and fearlessness of death, they were conceived by writer and future story editor Robert Holmes (screenwriter), Robert Holmes and first appeared in the 1973 ''Doctor Who'' serial ''The Time Warrior''. Characteristics Culture The Sontarans are a race of humanoids with a stocky build, a distinctive dome-shaped head, and they have only three fingers on each hand, though some members of their species do have five fingers. Their musculature is designed for load-bearing rather than leverage, because of the high gravity on their home planet. The Last Sontaran
''The Last Sontaran'' is the first serial of the second series of the British science fiction television series '' The Sarah Jane Adventures''. The first part of the two-part story aired on BBC One on 29 September 2008, with the second part premiering immediately after the first on the CBBC channel. This serial marks the departure of Maria Jackson, played by Yasmin Paige. Plot Sarah Jane, Maria, Luke, and Clyde investigate strange lights sighted near the village of Goblin's Copse, where a radio telescope observatory is located. "The Sontaran Stratagem" is the fourth episode of the fourth series of the British science fiction television series ''Doctor Who'', which depicts the adventures of a time-travelling humanoid alien known as The Doctor. Madame Vastra, Jenny Flint, And Strax
Madame Vastra, Jenny Flint, and Strax (informally known as the Paternoster Gang, together with the Doctor) are a trio of recurring fictional characters in the British science fiction television series ''Doctor Who'', created by Steven Moffat and portrayed, respectively, by Neve McIntosh, Catrin Stewart, and Dan Starkey. The three characters first appear in the sixth series episode " A Good Man Goes to War." Madame Vastra (a Silurian) and Jenny Flint (a human) are a married couple. In later stories, they are depicted living on Paternoster Row in London during the Victorian era.
