Solms, Texas
Solms is an unincorporated community in Comal County, Texas, United States. According to the Handbook of Texas, the community had a population of 40 in 2000. It is located within the Greater San Antonio area. Geography Solms is located on Farm to Market Road 482, southwest of New Braunfels in southern Comal County. Education In 1902, the Four Mile Creek, Three Mile Creek, and Comal Creek Schools came together to make Solms School. Today, the community is served by the Comal Independent School District. It is zoned for Morningside Elementary School, Danville Middle School, and Davenport High School. It was founded in Austin, Texas, United States, on March 2, 1897. In November 2008, the TSHA moved its offices from Austin to the University of North Texas in Denton, Texas. In 2015, the offices were relocated again to the University of Texas at Austin. The Geographic Names Information System (GNIS) is a database of name and location information about more than two million physical and cultural features, encompassing the United States and its territories; the Compact of Free Association, associated states of the Marshall Islands, Federated States of Micronesia, and Palau; and Antarctica. It is a type of gazetteer.
