	Sofronije Podgoričanin Sofronije Podgoričanin (1668 – 7 January 1711) was a Serbian Orthodox bishop who served in the Eparchy of Slavonia from 1705 to 1710 and was elevated to the Metropolitan of Krušedol (Sremski Karlovci) from 1710 to 1711. Early life Sofronije Podgoričanin was born in Podgorica in what is now Montenegro but was then part of the Ottoman Empire. He joined the monastic order as a youngster at a monastery and after completing his theological studies in Peć, joined the clergy. Career Sofronije became an archimandrite at the Patriarchate of Peć and when Bishop Jovan of Papraća Monastery died in 1694, he was named the monastery's administrator and exarch of Patriarch Arsenije III Čarnojević. With the patriarch, he migrated north to the Serbian territories, then under Austrian and Hungarian rule. 	Sofronije Kirilović Sofronije Kirilović (, ; died 28 February 1786) was a Serbian Orthodox bishop in the Habsburg monarchy. Biography Appointment to Transylvania Following the October 1767 resignation of Dionisije Novaković as administrator of the Transylvania diocese, several proposals for a successor emerged. Maria Theresa named Jovan Đorđević to the office a year later. However, he did not have a chance to take up the position, as he became Metropolitan of Karlovci after a month. In December 1769, Đorđević called a church congress for the Serbs, and this meeting elected Kirilović, the former vicar of Novaković in the Eparchy of Buda, as the new bishop of Transylvania. 	Sofronije Jugović-Marković Sofronije Jugović-Marković (fl. 1789) was a Habsburg Serb writer and activist in Russian service, who envisaged the formation of a Serbian protectorate of Russia (similar to Georgia), that would have held all South Slavic territories of the Habsburg stretching to Istria. Jugović sought to crown Grand Duke Konstantin Pavlovich "Serbian and Bulgarian Tsar Konstantin Nemanjić", after the medieval Nemanjić dynasty. It would continue the legacy of the Serbian Empire. Life He was born in what is today Vojvodina, northern Serbia. In 1785, he was one of the inspectors in the controversial murder of metropolitan Petar Petrović.
