} Sofia Anna "Sonya" Kenin (born November 14, 1998) is an American professional tennis player. She has been WTA rankings, ranked as high as world No. 4 in singles by the Women's Tennis Association, WTA, and No. 26 in doubles. Kenin was named the 2020 WTA Player of the Year, an award earned by winning the 2020 Australian Open – Women's singles, Australian Open and finishing runner-up at the 2020 French Open – Women's singles, French Open.
