San Donato Milanese
San Donato Milanese (Milanese: ) is a ''comune'' (municipality) in the Metropolitan City of Milan in the Italian region of Lombardy, located about southeast of Milan. It is served by the San Donato underground station right on the borderline between the town and Milan and by the San Donato Milanese railway station, serving only trains for the Trenord S1 line "Saronno– Lodi" and vice versa. Italian Athletics Championships
The Italian Athletics Championships () are the national championships in Athletics (sport), athletics, organised every year by the Federazione Italiana di Atletica Leggera. The first edition, four races only, was held in 1906 at Arena Civica in Milan, just after the foundation of the Italian Athletics Federation, Federazione Podistica Italiana and with the organization of ''La Gazzetta dello Sport''. Since then, 110 editions were held with the only exceptions of the years 1915-1918 and 1944. During 1945, only athletes of Northern Italy could participate but FIDAL considered this edition as an official one. To the running races, in 1913 the field events were added. Stefano Tilli (born 22 August 1962) is a former Italian sprinter who specialized in the 100 and 200 m, twice European indoor champion, three-time semi-finalist at the Olympic Games, and was the world record holder in the 200 m indoor. Biography Tilli was born in Orvieto, Umbria. In his career he won 17 medals at the International athletics competitions, eight of these with national relays team. Gennaro Di Napoli (born 5 March 1968) is an Italian former middle distance runner. He won 13 medals at the International athletics competitions, 10 of these at senior level. Biography Di Napoli was born in Naples but moved early in his life to Lombardy, in northern Italy. He excelled in the distances from 800 to 3,000 meters. He won the silver medal at the European Championships in Split 1990 over 1500 metres. He missed out on a medal at the World Championships 1991. In 1992 Di Napoli scored a sensational victory over the world champion Noureddine Morceli from Algeria at the Golden Gala meeting in Rome. Agnese Maffeis (born 9 March 1965, in Bergamo) is an Italian discus thrower and shot putter. She won six medals, at senior level, at the International athletics competitions. She has 73 caps in national team from 1981 to 2003, second Italian athlete of all-time behind Marisa Masullo that have 79 caps.
