The Social Liberals (, SoL) is a minor social liberal political party in Austria. It has never won a legislative seat, seat in a elections in Austria, federal election. Formation The party was founded and its charter registered and deposited at the Federal Ministry of the Interior (Austria), Federal Ministry of the Interior, as required by Austrian law, on March 11, 2002. It has not yet contested any Austrian federal election. Sociaal-Liberale Partij (, abbr. SLP; Dutch for Social Liberal Party) was a Belgian Flemish political party formed after dissolution of the moderate nationalist People's Union (''Volksunie'') party. Prior to 19 April 2008 it was known as Spirit, and intermediately as Flemish Progressives (VlaamsProgressieven). The party merged with Groen in the end of 2009, ceasing to exist. History The People's Union split up into two parties, the social liberal Spirit and the centre-right New-Flemish Alliance (N-VA), which formed an electoral alliance with the Christian Democratic and Flemish (CD&V) party. Social Liberal Party (Brazil)
The Social Liberal Party (, PSL) was a far-right political party in Brazil, that merged with the Democrats and founded the Brazil Union. Founded in 1994 as a social-liberal political party, the PSL was registered on the Superior Electoral Court in 1998. In January 2018, former Social Christian Party politician Jair Bolsonaro joined the party and later converted it into an economically liberal, Brazilian nationalist, radically anti-communist and social conservative party. The original name remained after the ideological shift, and after Livres (the party's original main wing) left the party and formed their own political movement to continue the party's original goals. The Social Liberal Party (''Partidul Social Liberal'') was a liberal political party in Moldova, led by Oleg Serebrian. At the legislative elections, 6 March 2005, the party was part of the Electoral Bloc Democratic Moldova (''Blocul Electoral Moldova Democrată''), that won 28.4% of the popular vote and 34 out of 101 seats. Inside the Bloc, the party won three seats. After the elections, the Bloc fell apart in three parliamentary groups of the constituent parties. In 2001, Oleg Serebrian released a manifest with the intention to found a social liberal party. Democrats 66 (; D66) is a social liberal and progressive political party in the Netherlands, which is positioned on the centre to centre-left of the political spectrum. It is a member of the Liberal International (LI) and the Alliance of Liberals and Democrats for Europe (ALDE). The name of the party refers to its year of foundation, 1966. Initially, its main objective had been to democratise the Dutch political system, but it developed a broader social liberal ideology over time. The Social Liberal Party ( ; ), abbreviated to PSL, is an opposition liberal political party in Tunisia. The party is a member of the Liberal International and the Africa Liberal Network. The party was founded in September 1988 under the name "Social Party for Progress" (), but was renamed in October 1993 to reflect its liberal ideology. At the 1999 election, it won election for the first time, winning its first two seats in the Chamber of Deputies. They retained these two seats at the 2004, when its candidate Mohamed Mouni Béji also won 0.8% at the presidential elections. In 2005, Mongi Khamassi, one of the party's founders, split to form the Green Party for Progress.
