Snowbird (Narya) is a superhero appearing in American comic books published by Marvel Comics. Created by John Byrne and Chris Claremont, the character first appeared in ''Uncanny X-Men'' #120 (April 1979). Snowbird is an Inuk demigoddess, being the daughter of a human and Nelvanna, the Inuk goddess of the Northern Skies. She has been depicted as a member of the Canadian superhero team Alpha Flight. Publication history Snowbird first appeared in ''Uncanny X-Men'' #120 (April 1979) and was created by John Byrne and Chris Claremont. An American comic book is a thin periodical literature originating in the United States, commonly between 24 and 64 pages, containing comics. While the form originated in 1933, American comic books first gained popularity after the 1938 publication of ''Action Comics'', which included the debut of the superhero Superman. The character, created by Len Kaminski, first appeared in ''Morbius the Living Vampire'' #4 (December 1994). He is a sadist who was unable to feel pain and has prosthesic hands equipped with surgical tools. Doctor Paine is a silent partner of Dr. David Langford which got threatened, resulting in the deaths of Martine Bancroft and his business partner. Yellowknife
Yellowknife is the capital, largest community, and the only city in the Northwest Territories, Canada. It is on the northern shore of Great Slave Lake, about south of the Arctic Circle, on the west side of Yellowknife Bay near the outlet of the Yellowknife River. Yellowknife and its surrounding water bodies were named after a local Dene tribe, who were known as the "Copper Indians" or "Yellowknife Indians", today incorporated as the Yellowknives Dene First Nation. Resolute Bay is an Arctic waterway in the Qikiqtaaluk Region, Nunavut, Canada. Named after the Arctic exploration vessel , it is located in Parry Channel on the southern side of Cornwallis Island. The hamlet of Resolute is located on the northern shore of the bay with Resolute Bay Airport to the northwest.
