''Snake'' () is a 1998 Mobile game, mobile video game created by Taneli Armanto as one of the three games included in the Nokia 6110 Mobile phone, cellular phone. In the game, the player controls a snake in a playing field, collecting orbs which give the player points and make the snake grow in size while avoiding the walls and the snake's own longer body. The game was developed by Armanto after the marketing team at Nokia wanted to include more custom options on their new phone. After initially trying to develop a ''Tetris''-like game, Armanto began developing a game in the Snake (video game genre), snake video game genre, which he was familiar with from older computer games. Along with the other included games with the phone, ''Snake'' was the first video game released with sound for cellular phones. ''Snakes Subsonic'' is a game release in 2007 for N-Gage 2.0. The game is a sequel to ''Snakes'' and the last game in the ''Snake'' series to be produced. Gameplay It is possible collect green pallets to get bigger, and if the player collides with his own tail, he dies. But, differently from ''Snake'', colliding with the scenario doesn't result in game over. Instead, the life bar will go down. There are 40 levels themed with the four elements and 20 levels from N-Gage Arena. There are also secret levels that are unlocked by collecting the letters from "SNAKES". To advance a level, it is necessary to empty blue "evolver bar" by following the trail of glowing blue pellets, that appear after eating a certain number of green pallets. N-Gage 2
N-Gage, also referred to as N-Gage 2.0, was a mobile gaming digital distribution platform from Nokia that was available for several Nokia smartphones running on S60 (Symbian). The successor to the original N-Gage gaming device and launched as part of their Ovi initiative in 2007, it aimed to offer AAA games for trial and purchase into a single application with full compatibility to all devices, along with online multiplayer and social features using N-Gage Arena via in-house servers. Games on the platform were natively coded or ported using C++. Testing began in Finland in February 2007, but the service faced numerous delays before the service finally rolled out on April 3, 2008 with five launch titles, initially for Nokia N81, N82 and N95 owners. Series 30+ (abbreviated as S30+) is a software platform and application user interface used for some Nokia-branded and HMD-branded mobile phones. The N-Gage is a mobile device combining features of a cellular phone and a Handheld game console, handheld game system developed by Nokia, released on 7 October 2003. Officially nicknamed the ''game deck'', the N-Gage's phone works on the GSM cellular network, and software-wise runs on the Series 60 platform on top of Symbian OS v6.1. Nokia Series 40 Platform, often shortened as S40, is a software platform and application user interface (UI) software that was previously used on Nokia's broad range of mid-tier feature phones from 2002 to 2014, as well as on some of the Vertu line of luxury phones.
