Charles Paul “Chaz” Bell (born March 3, 1991), known professionally as Slug Christ (stylized as Slug † Christ), is an American singer, rapper and record producer from Atlanta, Georgia. He is currently signed to Awful Records and Blackhouse Records. Biography Bell attended Savannah College of Art and Design, where he studied painting. He began his musical career performing as a vocalist in the mathcore band An Isle Ate Her. The band released one full-length and one EP and played in support for successful acts such as Chelsea Grin during their run. The band eventually broke up and Bell pursued making beats and rapping over them after being introduced to the Internet rap scene from a friend of An Isle Ate Her's bass player. After emerging in 2013 with a collection of ''Slugged Out'' remixes, he would later join Awful Records and the Wild Hogs and go on to release his debut album, entitled ''Crucifixion of Rapper Extraordinaire'', in 2015. Chelsea Grin
Chelsea Grin is an American deathcore band from Salt Lake City, Utah. Formed in 2007, the group have released two EPs and five full-length albums. Since 2018, no original members remain in the band. Chelsea Grin was originally founded under the name ''Ahaziah''. The lineup for Ahaziah included vocalist Alex Koehler, guitarist Chris Kilbourn, bassist Austin Marticorena and lead guitarist Michael Stafford. Marticorena introduced Andrew Carlston to Chelsea Grin and assisted in rewriting their songs as well as the creation of new material as they changed the name to Chelsea Grin soon after. This writing process lead to the tracks on their first release, a self-titled EP that was streamed and released online through iTunes, then released on CD worldwide on July 27, 2008. Centel Orlando Mangum (born 20 August 1990), known professionally as Father, is an American rapper, songwriter, record executive, and record producer. He is the head of independent record label Awful Records.
