Slobodan Drapić
Slobodan Drapić ( sr-Cyrl, Слободан Драпић, ; born 28 February 1965) is a football manager and former player. He is currently the manager of Maccabi Bnei Reineh. Born in Yugoslavia, he represented Israel at international level. Playing career Drapić was born and grew up in Novi Sad, where he played for the local side RFK Novi Sad for two years in the Yugoslav Second League. In 1988, he moved to play in Israel for Maccabi Netanya and made aliyah. On 23 November 1988, he was called up for the Israeli national team and won his one and only cap for the national side in a friendly game against Romania. Drapić played with Netanya for seven years in the Liga Leumit until the club got relegated in the end of the 1994–95 season. The following season he moved to play for Beitar Tubruk, where he also retired as a player. The Betar Movement (), also spelled Beitar (), is a Revisionist Zionism, Revisionist Zionist youth movement founded in 1923 in Riga, Latvia, by Ze'ev Jabotinsky, Vladimir (Ze'ev) Jabotinsky. Hapoel (, ) is an Israeli Jewish sports association established in 1926 by the Histadrut Labor Federation. Beitar Tel Aviv Bat Yam F.C. () is an Israeli football club which represents Tel Aviv and Bat Yam. It plays in the Liga Alef, the third level of Israeli football. Home matches are played at the Bat Yam Municipal Stadium. History Beitar Shimshon Tel Aviv was formed in 2000 by a merger of Beitar Tel Aviv and Shimshon Tel Aviv. Both clubs were in Liga Artzit at the time of the merger, with the new club assuming a place in the league. In 2006 the club moved to Bnei Yehuda's Hatikva Neighborhood Stadium. Avraham "Avram" Grant (; né Granat; born ) is an Israeli professional football manager who currently manages the Zambia national football team. He has spent the majority of his career coaching and managing in Israel, winning a number of national league and cup victories with different teams, and also managing the Israel national team for four years. Grant moved to England in 2006 to become technical director of Portsmouth before being appointed director of football at Chelsea in July 2007. Ronny Levy (; also spelled Roni; born on 14 November 1966), is an Israeli football manager. As an Israeli international player, Levy played primarily as a defensive midfielder. He won Israeli football championships with both Bnei Yehuda and Maccabi Haifa. Club career Levy started his career as a striker in the youth team of Maccabi Netanya. He was promoted to the first team in 1985. After five seasons, he was loaned to Bnei Yehuda where he won his first championship title. After returning to Maccabi Netanya, Levy transferred to Maccabi Haifa in 1992, where he played as a defender. After a few games, his role was changed to defensive midfielder, the position he would occupy until the end of his playing career. He retired from playing in 1997 due to a serious knee injury. Beitar Nes Tubruk Netanya (), formerly Beitar Netanya, is a football club in Netanya, Israel. History Beitar Netanya The original Beitar Netanya team spent several years in the lower divisions, mainly in the second division there the club played from 1961 to 1977, 1981–82 and in 1986 the club was promoted to the top division (then Liga Leumit) as Liga Artzit champions. However, the club won only three games in its first and only season in the top flight, and were relegated with just 10 points, the lowest ever total during a 16-team season. The Israeli Premier League (, Ligat HaAl, ) is a professional association football league in Israel and the highest level of the Israeli football league system. The league is contested by 14 clubs, and operates on a system of promotion and relegation with its second division Liga Leumit.
