Skørping Railway Station
Skørping railway station is a Danish railway station serving the railway town of Skørping in Himmerland south of Aalborg, Denmark. The station is located in the centre of the town on the northern edge of the Rold Forest. The station is located on the Randers-Aalborg Line from Randers to Aalborg and is the southern terminal train station, terminus of the Aalborg Commuter Rail service. It opened in 1869. The train services are currently operated by the railway company, railway companies DSB (railway company), DSB and Nordjyske Jernbaner. History The station opened in 1869 with the opening of the Randers-Aalborg Line, Randers-Aalborg railway line from Randers to Aalborg. It survived a series of station closures in the 1970s. In 2003 it became the southern terminal train station, terminus of the new Aalborg Commuter Rail service.
