Tour Pleyel
Tour Pleyel is a skyscraper of mixed use, both residential and commercial, located in the '' commune'' of Saint-Denis in the suburbs of Paris, France. Built in 1972, the tower is 129 metres tall. At the top is a large turning advertising sign, in place since 1997 (the advertisement was firstly for Philips, then for Siemens from 2006 to 2013, and is currently for Kia Motors). Including that advertising sign, the total height of the tower is 143 m. The tower has been built at the former location of the Pleyel et Cie factories. Several projects have been proposed since 1959, the one which had been adopted was planning the building of 4 identical towers in the middle of a large urban park of 4 ha. Tour T1
Tour T1 (also known as the Tour GDF Suez) is an office skyscraper in La Défense, the high-rise Central business district, business district west of Paris, France. Construction began in 2005 and the tower was completed and opened in 2008. The tower, 185 m (607 ft) tall, is the third-tallest skyscraper in La Défense after the Tour Total (190m) and Tour First (231m). Since 2010, the entirety of the building's office space has been rented by GDF Suez. Tour Total (previously known as Tour Elf from 1985 to 1999, then Tour TotalFinaElf from 1999 to 2003) is an office skyscraper located in La Défense, Courbevoie, the high-rise business district west of and adjacent to the city of Paris, France, designed in the Modern architectural style. The building now serves as headquarters for TotalEnergies, one of the six " Supermajor" oil companies in the world. Completed and opened in 1985, it is the third-tallest skyscraper in La Défense and the fourth-tallest skyscraper in the Paris area, after the Tour First and the Tour Montparnasse. Tour Hekla is a 220-metre (722 ft), 48-story skyscraper in Puteaux, in the La Défense district of Grand Paris, Greater Paris, in France. Named after the Hekla, Icelandic volcano Hekla, It is located in the Rose de Cherbourg area. It was designed by French architect Jean Nouvel. History The building received its building permit in June 2016. Construction began in May 2018. Tour First
Tour First (previously known as Tour UAP between 1974 and 1998, and as Tour Axa between 1998 and 2007) is an office skyscraper in Courbevoie, in La Défense, the business district of the Paris metropolitan area. The tower was built in 1974 by Bouygues for the UAP insurance company. The building was at that time. Its ground shape was in the form of a three-pointed star whose branches were separated each by a 120° angle. This particular shape was chosen to symbolize the merger of the three French insurance companies that were at the origin of UAP. The tower was renamed Tour Axa when UAP was bought by the Axa insurance company in 1996. Large-scale renovation of the tower began in 2007 and was completed in 2011. The exterior appearance of the building was completely changed, with extra height added to the tower.
