Skyler Wheeler
Skyler Wheeler (born April 24, 1993) is an American politician. A member of the Republican Party, he has served as member of the Iowa House of Representatives, representing the 4th district since 2017. Wheeler is also employed as a high school baseball coach. College career Wheeler graduated from Grays Harbor College, where he played baseball. Wheeler broke the all-time hits record and received an athletic scholarship to Northwestern College in Orange City, Iowa. At Northwestern, Wheeler broke the school's single-season RBI and double records, while batting a career .362 with 114 RBI's. Wheeler led the Great Plains Athletic Conference (GPAC) in RBI (66) in 2014 and hits (76) in 2015. The Secretary of State of Iowa is the commissioner of elections of the U.S. state of Iowa. A constitutional officer, the officeholder is elected every four years. The Office of the Secretary of State is divided into four divisions: Elections and Voter Registration, Business Services, Administrative Services, and Communications and Publications. Elections and Voter Registration deals with supervising the 99 county auditors, elections, and voter registration. Iowa Legislature
The Iowa General Assembly is the legislative branch of the state government of Iowa. Like the federal United States Congress, the General Assembly is a bicameral body, composed of the upper house Iowa Senate and the lower Iowa House of Representatives respectively. The Senate consists of four year terms and the House consists of two year terms. The General Assembly convenes within the Iowa State Capitol in Des Moines since the capital was moved there in 1857. The assembly convenes annually on the second Monday in January. Composition The Iowa General Assembly consists of 50 senators and 100 representatives.
