Sky Police
"Sky Police" is the sixteenth episode of the twenty-sixth season of the American animated television series ''The Simpsons'', and the 568th overall episode of the series. The episode was directed by Rob Oliver and written by Matt Selman. It first aired on the Fox network in the United States on March 8, 2015. In this episode, Marge leads churchgoers to a casino to win enough money to rebuild the church after Chief Wiggum destroys it when using a jet pack. Nathan Fielder guest starred as Doug Blattner. The episode received mixed reviews. Plot Chief Wiggum is mistakenly delivered a military jet pack, which he gleefully accepts. He is later found by a military general who originally bought the jet pack, and received his order for an off-brand dust ruffle. Wiggum tries to escape, but is shot down by the general's soldiers. Rob Oliver
Rob Oliver (born 1977) is a director for ''The Simpsons''. He has also been a character layout artist, storyboard artist, assistant director, second unit director, and technical director over the course of his long career on the show. He graduated from Owosso (MI) High School in 1995, and the next year he was hired to draw characters on ''The Simpsons''. He has worked on hundreds of episodes. Rob has also worked on Simpsons commercials, DVD menus, DVD boxes, and consumer products for the brand. His Renault Kangoo commercial was a mix of live-action and animation. Received an Emmy nomination for directing "Holidays of Future Passed", an episode of ''The Simpsons''. He conceptualized many of the visuals for the episode himself, while storyboarding it. David Holmes (musician)
David Holmes (born 25 February 1969) is a Northern-Irish musician and composer from Northern Ireland. He worked as a DJ before releasing several solo albums that incorporated elements of trip hop, big beat, rock and electronic music. In the late 1990s, he also began composing film scores, establishing a long-standing collaboration with director Steven Soderbergh that includes ''Out of Sight'' (1998) and the Ocean's (film series), ''Ocean's'' trilogy. Holmes is currently a member of the band Unloved (band), Unloved, whose music has been used extensively in the television series ''Killing Eve'', for which Holmes is also a composer. ''Ocean's'' is a series of heist films. Beginning with the 1960 Rat Pack film '' Ocean's 11'', the series has seen mixed to favorable critical reception and substantial commercial success. After the 1960 film, a reboot trilogy was released from 2001 to 2007, often cited as defining its genre and leading to a proliferation and commercialization of heist films throughout the world. Church Team
The Church Team was a card counting blackjack team that operated from 2005 to 2011. It was started and managed by Ben Crawford and Colin Jones. Over the years the team included approximately 30 investors, 40 players, and various levels of managers and trainers. The team was primarily based out of the Seattle area but had almost 15 players from the Cincinnati area as well as players from California, NY, Oregon and Nevada. The team, at its highest point, was playing with $1.2 million of investors money and in the course of the 6 years won more than $3 million from casinos. The team would come together and meet quarterly in the Seattle area to discuss goals, business model changes, introduce new players, and test old players out.
