''The Shadow'' (Swedish: ''Skuggan'') is a 1953 Swedish drama film directed by Kenne Fant and starring Georg Rydeberg, Eva Dahlbeck and Hugo Björne.Qvist & Von Bagh p.61 It was shot at the Kungsholmen Studios of Nordisk Tonefilm in Stockholm with location shooting at the Stockholm Public Library. The film's sets were designed by the art director Bibi Lindström. Kenne Fant
Carl-Henrik "Kenne" Fant (1 January 1923 – 29 May 2016) was a Swedish actor, director, and writer. Early life Kenne Fant was born in Strängnäs to Captain Tore Fant and Stina Fant (née Gustafsson). He was the younger brother of actor, director, and writer George Fant and first cousin of speech scientist Gunnar Fant. Career Fant studied at the Royal Dramatic Training Academy from 1945 to 1949, and was at the Royal Dramatic Theatre from 1949 - 1950. He was hired as director of the Nordisk Tonefilm 1952 -1962, and became production manager of Swedish Film Industry (SF) in 1962. He was appointed CEO of SF from 1963. In 1980 he resigned to become a freelance writer. His 1962 film '' Adventures of Nils Holgersson'' was entered into the 3rd Moscow International Film Festival. In 1991, he published a biography of Alfred Nobel that included many references to the extensive collection of Nobel's letters. Per-Axel Daniel Rank Arosenius (7 November 1920 – 21 March 1981) was a Swedish film and television actor, primarily known for his supporting roles. His most prominent film role was that of Soviet defector Boris Kusenov in the thriller film ''Topaz'' (1969), directed by Alfred Hitchcock. Death After a dispute with the Swedish taxation authorities, Arosenius protested by setting himself on fire outside their office in Nacka. He died at the age of 60 in the ambulance on the way to the hospital. Olle Hilding (born Hilding Olof Johansson; 19 July 1898 – 9 November 1983) was a Swedish stage and film actor. He appeared in motion pictures between 1923-1982. Biography Hilding Olof Johansson was born and died in the Katarina Parish of Stockholm, Sweden. From 1920–1923 he toured the country with the theater company of Oscar Winge (1884-1951) and made his film debut under the direction of film director, Victor Sjöström (1879–1960) in ''Vem doer'' (1922). During much of the 1930s, Hilding helped author Erik Lindorm (1889-1941), with his book chronicles, most of which featured historical personalities and events as themes.
