Skinderiškis (formerly , ) is a former village in Kėdainiai district municipality, in Kaunas County, in central Lithuania. It was located from Pajieslys, from Pilsupiai, in the Šušvė river loop. Now the area officially belongs to Pilsupiai and Užvarčiai villages. The Skinderiškis Dendrological Park is now located in a former Skinderiškis Manor site. History At the end of the 19th century there was a Skinderiškis estate (a property of the Griškevičiai) and watermill. Skinderiškis Dendrological Park
__NOTOC__ Skinderiškis Dendrological Park () a dendrological park (an arboretum) located in a former Skinderiškis manor site (now part of Užvarčiai village), Kėdainiai District Municipality, central Lithuania. The park is located in the Šušvė river loop and covers an area of . It was created (since 1971) by a local forester Kęstutis Kaltenis who was awarded by the prize of Lithuanian president Valdas Adamkus in 1993 for this contribution to environment protection. The park hosts thousands of various trees and shrubs which belong to more than 1300 species. All the area is divided into different biogeographical zones: Europe, Siberia, the Caucasus, Central Asia, Far East, Eastern North America and Western North America. The park is created as a landscape composition with a system of small ponds, wooden sculptures and heavy boulders. Pilsupiai
Pilsupiai (formerly , ) is a village in Kėdainiai district municipality, in Kaunas County, in central Lithuania. According to the 2011 census, the village had a population of 54 people. It is located from Krakės, along the Krakės-Josvainiai road, on the right bank of the Šušvė river (the Angiriai Reservoir), by its tributary Paupelys (or Pilsupys) mouth. Krakės Eldership () is a Lithuanian eldership, located in the northwestern part of Kėdainiai District Municipality. Eldership was created from the Krakės ''selsovet'' in 1993. Pajieslys
Pajieslys (formerly , ) is a village in Kėdainiai district municipality, in Kaunas County, in central Lithuania. According to the 2011 census, the village had a population of 254 people. It is located from Krakės, by the Jiesla rivulet, nearby its confluence with the Šušvė. There is a wooden Catholic church of St. Mary (built in 1913), a library, and a school. The Pajieslys Geomorphological Sanctuary is located nearby. Pajieslys hosts an ISKCON community. History The first church in Pajieslys had been built in 1857. Šušvė
Šušvė () is a river in central Lithuania, a right (the longest) tributary of the Nevėžis river. It begins in Kelmė district municipality, 6 km (4 mi) southeast from Tytuvėnai. The 134.6 km (83.6 mi) long river passes through Tytuvėnai and Sulinkiai Marshes and flows south through Radviliškis district municipality. Finally, Šušvė passes through Kėdainiai district municipality and flows into the Nevėžis near Graužiai village. The width of the river valley is between 0.5 and 3 km. From December to March Šušvė is usually frozen. Dams were built at Vaitiekūnai and Angiriai ( Angiriai Reservoir).
