''Skeletá'' is the sixth studio album by the Swedish rock band Ghost. It was released on 25 April 2025 through Loma Vista Recordings, was preceded by the singles "Satanized", "Lachryma" and "Peacefield", and is notable for being the band's first album to top the US ''Billboard'' 200. The album was produced by the band's leader Tobias Forge under an alias "Gene Walker." Release ''Skeletá'' follows up the band's 2022 studio album ''Impera'' and is described as their "most unflinchingly introspective work to date". It was reported to include lyricism of "the newly instated Perpetua" and showcase a variety of "distinct individual emotional vistas". The band announced the album alongside the release of the lead single "Satanized" on 5 March 2025. Ghost is a Swedish Rock music, rock band known for combining costumed theatricality, Heavy metal music, heavy metal, and arena rock. Tobias Jens Forge (; born 3 March 1981) is a Swedish musician. He is the frontman, leader, primary songwriter, and sole continuous member of the masked rock band Ghost, performing live as their vocalist under the stage names Papa Emeritus, Cardinal Copia, and Papa Perpetua. Although the band was formed in 2006, Forge's identity as the Ghost frontman was only confirmed in 2017, following a lawsuit by former band members due to a royalty dispute. Prior to finding success, he was in several other bands, including Repugnant and Crashdïet, under the stage name Mary Goore. For his musical accomplishments, Forge was awarded the 2019 Platinagitarren award from STIM, who explained "With one foot standing firmly on the metal floor, Forge is a composer pushing the boundaries of the genre." Phantomime (Ghost EP)
''Phantomime'' is the fourth EP by Swedish rock band Ghost. It was released on 19 May 2023 by Loma Vista Recordings and consists of five covers of other acts. The first single from the EP, a cover of Genesis's song "Jesus He Knows Me", was released on 9 April 2023. The second and final single, a cover of Iron Maiden's song "Phantom of the Opera", was released 16 May 2023. Background In an interview with NME, Ghost's frontman Tobias Forge revealed that ''Phantomime'' was initially conceived as a full-length album featuring 10 cover tracks, intended to mirror ''Impera'' (2022). However, due to the impact ''Impera'' had on him, the project was reduced to an EP.
