Sion Elgan Morris (born 6 September 1977) is a Welsh cricketer. Morris is a left-handed batsman. He was born in St Asaph, Denbighshire. Morris made his Minor Counties Championship debut for Wales Minor Counties in 1998 against Cornwall. From 1998 to 2003, he represented the team in 12 Championship matches, the last of which came against Oxfordshire. His MCCA Knockout Trophy debut for the team came in 2001 against the Worcestershire Cricket Board. Maurice Sion (17 October 1927, Skopje – 17 April 2018, Vancouver) was an American and Canadian mathematician, specializing in measure theory and game theory. He is known for Sion's minimax theorem. Biography Sion received from New York University his B.A. in 1947 and his M.A. in 1948. Ioan Sion
Alecu Ioan Sion (September 28, 1890 – November 24, 1942) was a Romanian soldier and a major general in the Land Forces. Born in Pitești, he attended the military high school from Iași and then studied at the military school for artillery and engineers officers in Bucharest from 1909 to 1911. He entered the army as a second lieutenant in 1911. Promoted to lieutenant in 1914, he later took part in World War I, commanding a unit within the 2nd Artillery Regiment. During the Romanian Campaign of 1916, he stood out at the battles of Perșani and Porumbacu, for which he was awarded the Order of the Crown of Romania, Knight class. He was promoted to captain in 1917, and fought in the battles in Moldavia during that summer. Gheorghe Sion (May 22, 1822 – October 1, 1892) was a Moldavian, later Romanian poet, playwright, translator and memoirist. Constantin Sion, also known as Costandin or Cothi Sion (September 18, 1795 – February 27, 1862), was a Moldavian political conspirator, genealogist, and polemicist. Twm Siôn Cati is a prominent figure in Welsh folklore. While many tales of cunning and trickery have been associated with Twm, he is also said to have been a respected antiquary, genealogist and poet and to have risen to the position of magistrate and mayor of Brecon as well as being a relative of the occultist John Dee. Sion Spence (, born 2 October 2000) is a Welsh professional footballer who plays as a midfielder for club Hednesford Town. Club career Cardiff City Spence started his career at Cardiff City where he was awarded the club's academy player of the year award for the 2017–18 season.
