Siyabonga Mlungisi Shibe (born 23 February 1978) is a South African actor from Umlazi, KwaZulu-Natal. Early life Shibe was born and raised in Umlazi, Kwazulu-Natal. He attended Ganges Secondary School, where his teachers encouraged him to pursue acting. As a child, Shibe would regularly participate in community plays in Umlazi. After finishing high school, he went to study drama at Technikon Natal. Shibe, along other fellow students at Technikon Natal, formed a theatre group called Amagugu. Siyabonga Eugene Nomvethe (; born 2 December 1977) is a South African former professional soccer player who played as a forward. Nomvethe played in several European leagues. Nomvethe represented the South Africa national team from his debut on 6 May 1999, and he played in the 2002 and 2010 World Cups. He is the highest all-time goal scorer in the PSL. Siyabonga Mbatha (born 4 February 1989) is a South African soccer player who played as a goalkeeper. Career Mbatha made his first-tier debut in the 2010–11 South African Premier Division, when he was allowed to start the penultimate match of the season for Bloemfontein Celtic. Mbatha kept a clean sheet. Nonetheless, he did not get more chances at Bloemfontein Celtic. At Thanda Royal Zulu, Mbatha won the 2016–17 National First Division. Siyabonga Cyprian Cwele (born 3 September 1958) is a South African politician who served in the cabinet of South Africa from September 2008 to May 2019, most recently as the Minister of Home Affairs between 2018 and 2019. He was appointed as the South African Ambassador to China in December 2020. He is a member of the African National Congress (ANC) and represented the party in Parliament from 1994 to 2019. A medical doctor by training, Cwele joined the ANC underground during apartheid in 1984.
