Siri Nordeide Grønli
Siri Merete Nordeide Grønli (born 17 April 1984) is a Norwegian football defender, the daughter of a football trainer. She played for IL Høyang before starting school at NTG Bærum (a specialist sports school near Oslo) and joining Asker SK as a 16-year-old. She was an Asker player from 2000 to 2008 until joining Stabæk Fotball Kvinner (SFK) at the beginning of 2009 with most of Asker's first team. 2012 was her 13th season in the Norwegian elite league, the Toppserien, except for a season in which Asker were demoted (2006). She played for the Norway Under-23 team in 2007 as a vice-captain. In April 2009 she joined Norway's senior team for a visit to England for a training match. Høyanger
Høyanger () is a municipality in Vestland county, Norway. It is located in the traditional district of Sogn. The administrative center is the village of Høyanger. Other villages in Høyanger municipality include Austreim, Bjordal, Kyrkjebø, Lavik, Ortnevik, and Vadheim. Toppserien Players
The Toppserien is the top level of women's association football in Norway. It was founded in 1984. History Women's league football was introduced on a county basis in 1977. These leagues acted as qualification for the regional (South) league in 1979. Regional leagues were in operation until the formation of the First Division 1984, when the league was divided into three regions, Group Eastern-Norway (''Østlandet''), Group Western-Norway (''Vestlandet''), and Group Mid-Norway (''Trøndelag''). No teams from Northern-Norway (''Nord-Norge'') played, however. The winners of the three groups met each other for a play-off. Asker Fotball (women) Players
Asker Fotball is the association football, football department of Norwegian sports club Asker SK from Asker. The women's football team is one of the most successful clubs ever in Norway, with six Toppserien, top flight championships and five Norwegian Women's Cup, cup championships. Due to financial difficulties at the end of 2008, the team's licence to play in the Toppserien was revoked; the team members then joined Stabæk IF's football group, Stabæk Fotball, which set up a new women's team. The Football Association of Norway, NFF gave Asker's place in the Toppserien to Stabæk Fotball. Asker's second team became Asker's first team, playing in the 2. divisjon (women), 2. divisjon, and they now have a recruiting arrangement with Stabæk Fotball. Stabæk Fotball Kvinner
Stabæk Fotball Kvinner is Stabæk IF's women's association football, football team, started on 23 October 2008 with a core of players from Asker Fotball, Asker. Asker had lost its licence to play in the top league after a failure to meet financial targets, and Stabæk's chairman Mimi Berdal arranged for the new team to be formed within Stabæk IF. The team was immediately joined by other players including Solveig Gulbrandsen. Stabæk plays in the Toppserien, the top women's league in Norway. The new team set an attendance record in its first match, with 1,321 spectators watching a 2–0 win over Røa, and these two teams have dominated the Norwegian league and cup competitions since then. Stabæk won the league championship in 2010 and thus qualified for the 2011–12 UEFA Women's Champions League to debut in Europe.
