Sipe Springs (, pronounced "seep") is an Unincorporated area#United States, unincorporated community located in Comanche County, Texas, Comanche County, in the U.S. state of Texas. According to the Handbook of Texas, the community had a population of 75 in 2000. History Sipe Springs also had an opera house and its own baseball team. The Texas State Historical Association (TSHA) is an American nonprofit educational and research organization dedicated to documenting the history of Texas. It was founded in Austin, Texas, United States, on March 2, 1897. In November 2008, the TSHA moved its offices from Austin to the University of North Texas in Denton, Texas. In 2015, the offices were relocated again to the University of Texas at Austin.
