Stock car racing events in the ARCA Menards Series have been held at Kansas Speedway, in Kansas City, Kansas during numerous seasons and times of year since 2001. Spring race The Tide 150 is an ARCA Menards Series race held at Kansas Speedway. It is held on the race weekend of the NASCAR Cup Series' AdventHealth 400. History The race was added to the schedule in 2020 after the cancellation of the race at Chicagoland Speedway due to COVID-19 regulations in Illinois. It then became a permanent race on the ARCA Menards Series schedule in 2021. In each year in that the race has been run, the race has been won by the driver who went on to win the series championship: Bret Holmes won it in 2020, which was his first ARCA win. Ty Gibbs won the 2021 race and also led every single lap in it, becoming the first driver since Kevin Swindell in 2012 at Chicagoland Speedway to lead every single lap of a main ARCA Series race. ARCA Menards Series
The ARCA Menards Series is an American stock car racing, stock car series, the premier division of the Automobile Racing Club of America (ARCA). It is considered a minor, semi-professional league of stock car racing, used as a feeder series into the three national touring series of NASCAR, and hosts events at a variety of track types including superspeedways, Road racing, road courses, and Dirt track racing, dirt tracks. It also provides hobby drivers a chance to experience racing at large tracks used in the three national touring series in NASCAR. Nicholas Anthony Sanchez (born June 10, 2001) is an American professional stock car racing driver. He competes full-time in the NASCAR Xfinity Series, driving the No. 48 Chevrolet Camaro (sixth generation), Chevrolet SS for Big Machine Racing and part-time in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series, driving the No. 07 Chevrolet Silverado, Chevrolet Silverado RST for Spire Motorsports. The 2023 ARCA Menards Series was the 71st season of the ARCA Menards Series, a stock car racing series sanctioned by NASCAR in the United States. The season began at Daytona International Speedway with the BRANDT 200 on February 18 and ended with the ARCA races at Toledo, Shore Lunch 200 at Toledo Speedway on October 7. The 2022 Dutch Boy 150 was the fourth stock car race of the 2022 ARCA Menards Series season, and the third iteration of the event. The race was held on Saturday, May 14, 2022, in Kansas City, Kansas at Kansas Speedway, a 1.5 mile (4 km) permanent oval-shaped racetrack. The race was contested over 100 laps. At race's end, Nick Sanchez, driving for Rev Racing, would take the win, after holding off teammate Rajah Caruth in the final 36 laps. This was Sanchez's third career ARCA Menards Series win, and his second of the season. To fill out the podium, Daniel Dye of GMS Racing would finish 3rd, respectively.
